This is a blogspot that carries my passion for the Church of Jesus Christ spread around the world. In my journey as a Nomad for the Lord, I want to share the thoughts that I collect in my interaction with fellow Nomads around the world.

Got here well.

I got to my Dad´s home well, after 62 hours on the "road." I had a delay on my flight from Seattle to Chicago and missed the connection to São Paulo. The funny thing is that United did not have a Captain to fly the big bird from Seattle and they had to wait until one should arrive from Washington, D.C. That was the cause of the delay. However, even so smelly and skunky, I was happy to land in Goiânia after the long journey.

Got some rest already, the jet lag thing is history, and I am enjoying my Dad´s company for the past couple of days. I will go to a soccer (futebol) match to watch my favored Goiás Sport Clube play this afternoon along with two of my brothers-in-law. Tomorrow, I will attend Maranatha Presbyterian Church and Monday I will head for a week long of contacts and preaching in Londrina, Paraná State, and São Paulo.

I am also enjoying some Brazilian food, although I am being very conscious of my diet. I ate two of my favored vegetables yesterday (I told you, I am watching my diet!): Jiló and Pequi. Please don´t ask me to describe the experience... just think Heaven!

Continue to pray for me and my contacts for Diaspora Academy. Also, pray for a friend of mine in Russia, Sergei, who was involved in a car accident there and is not doing well.

Shalom!
