Time for Prayer
I spent a couple of days in Denver, returning home late last night. When there, I had the privilege of listening to Dr. Billy Kim, from Korea. He spoke about the great importance of prayer in our churches. For me, the highlight was a thought that he brought to us: "Prayer doesn't need proof; it needs practice." How true! Sometimes we are frustrated because we tend to measure our prayers according to our own expectations.
I will be leaving for Brazil on October 16. There, I will make a lot of contacts, traveling to various places in the country. Also, I will have the joy of visiting my Dad, who is 90 now, and whom I don't see since 1999. I look forward to spending time with him and learning from his life experience. My Dad has been a great inspiration for me because of his integrity and character.
So this week is going to be a very busy one.
Tchau!
